It’s been a long, long, long road for T.I. For every success a (usually self-imposed) setback seems to be waiting on the horizon for the King of the South, but as of right now T.I.’s looking like he’s ready to get back on top. The proof? Brand new single and celebratory anthem Like That. Concocted by producer Lil C, Like That is more high energy than a Redbull washed down with a Monster and 4 Loko, building around a snapping percussion line and exploding into a hard-driven banger on the hook. Lyrically T.I. gives hip-hip nation what it is he claims they’ve been asking for; some of that swaggering street rap that he first built his sizable empire on: “They want that super dumb ignorant, that gutter belligerent, authentic grip flippin trap boy ni**er sh*t.” If TIP’s right and Like That is indeed what the people have been waiting for then we can expect the brass at Atlantic Records to give his upcoming album, Trouble Man, a release date sooner than later

of September 4.  In the meantime, let us know in the comments below just how much you do, or don’t, like Like That.
