T.I. - Trap Back Jumpin

On T.I.‘s newest street single, Trap Back Jumpin, the Southern spitter makes a lyrical return to the trap and in the process seems to have awakened a younger version of himself that was previously featured on past albums I’m Serious and Trap Muzik. T.I. attempts to tighten his grip on the King of the South title as he assuredly raps, “Ain’t ‘nere one of ya’ll ni**ga’s bigger than me/ Can’t none of ya’ll take this city from me/ Take years off and I’m still tight/ I half-a** and they still like it.” Paired with past collaborator DJ Toomp‘s ominous production, the ATL native’s lyricism comes off as even more aggressive than usual, calling out the doubters, naysayers, and likely a few subpar lyricists. There’s no word yet on whether or not Trap Back Jumpin will be featured on T.I.‘s forthcoming Trouble Man album.  Stay tuned…
