Thee Tom Hardy - Durham All Day

Producer:
Thee Band Geeks
Album:
Unreleased

The day that Thee Tom Hardy lets me produce his biography, we’re going to have this song crank on the opening credits. The DJ Booth Freestyle Series alum reps his domain on a slow-pedal in Durham All Day, a cruise-controlled song sharing Hardy’s route around his historic N.C. city. This joint has an open door that lets anyone in, regardless of where they’re from, thanks to the production from The Band Geeks. Twinkle-toe synths easily lay over a somber beat, giving Hardy a chance to have fun with an nontraditional “rep-yo-hood” ensemble. Southern most definitely, the kid oozes hospitality through his cadence, slightly echoing the flow of an early T.I. (take it back to I’m Serious, P*ssy Popper #1 to be exact) with his own style brewed in the mix. Durham All Day was released in support of Hot 97’s Pete Rosenberg‘s Generation Next event next week at Southpaw in New York. And also be sure to check out Thee Tom Hardy’s The Hardy Boy Mystery Mixtape: Secret of Thee Green Magic, hosted by your go-to’s go-to, DJBooth.net.
