Freedom Ain't Free

Been wondering how things have been going for the man who brought us Bottom Girl back in 2009? You’re in luck; today, the Los Angeles native returns to bring us up to date on his favorite Topic—that is, himself—on Testimony, a Booth-exclusive world premiere off his next street album. Donny Wonderful provides a fitting musical backdrop for some true confessions, building from spare, bluesy guitar riffs to a climactic chorus as the artist reflects on his struggles and frustrations, as well as his hopes and dreams for the future. Now that Topic’s paid his dues, will he achieve the success he deserves? Only time will tell, but those who want to support the artist on his journey can do so by copping his latest project, Freedom Ain’t Free, when it drops Tuesday October 2.
