Black Christmas EP

Raise your hand if you are sick of hearing the same 12 Christmas tunes. Between radio stations that only play Christmas songs and every store playing Deck The Halls on loop, it can often be too much, even for the most die-hard holiday-ers. As an early Christmas present and a break from the monotony, Torae crafted a Christmas carol of his own. Waiting On Christmas Day features the Re-Produced series participant spitting two uber-descriptive verses describing his Christmas day schedule, which includes watching the Knicks and stopping by church to cook up a meal for those less fortunate. Sharing in the holiday cheer is Bluu Suede, who lends his smooth vocals to the chorus and E. Jones of the Soul Council, who crafts a wholesome, bell spliced beat that is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit. This tune is attached to Torae’s Black Christmas EP, which will be available next week on 12/25.
