Many rappers seem to be stuck in one unchanging mood, hitting the same note of triumph or confrontational anger in track after track. TreaZon‘s records, however, run the complete emotional gamut – the third entry in his Booth-exclusive 45 Days series, Royal Sadness, found him expressing loneliness and alienation over unconventionally upbeat production, and on the fourth installment Ventilation, we get to hear the Cleveland emcee at his angriest.  Over a melancholy beat by the late J. Dilla, TreaZon creates a cut that he he considers one of his deepest (“There are so many hidden messages inside my lyrics,” he stated regarding this record). Cerebral lyrics and emotional resonance are always a winning combination, and Ventilation should give fans plenty to think about in anticipation of the February 24th premiere of the next 45 Days record.
