The role of chance encounters in the music game can’t be underestimated, and Noah Sims‘s story is a case in point. Windy City rhymesayer Tree met Noah and his mother while biking some merch to a handful of fans and, upon learning that he was an aspiring producer, invited him to slide over a few beats. One out of the three Tree received piqued his interest and, after an hour in the studio, Bang Bang was born. A chopped sample of Nancy Sinatra’s Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down), fortified with trap percussion, sets the stage for gruff, bullet-riddled bars from the unsigned spitter. This cut is just a loosie, but fans can, of course, keep it locked for the latest news and tunes from Tree.
