Is it just me, or is there a deep, philosophical vibe in the Booth today? Ready to Live, the latest offering from Trek Life finds the West Coast up-and-comer who brought us As the World Turns tackling the same lyrical ground from a slightly different vantage point. Backed by the unique piano-synth-string production of DMV-based rapper/beatsmith Oddisee, the emcee offers his own thoughts on life, the universe and everything. In addition to expressing his gratitude for the people (his baby girl) and things (new kicks, summer breezes) that make every day better than the last, he emphasizes the importance of planting seeds for the future.
