Trey Songz - Dive In

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Troy Taylor
Album:

It seems like everywhere I turn these days I hit some new Trey Songz, and I’m sure that’s exactly what the R&B superstar has in mind. In between dropping a bevy of mixtapes and lighting up a plethora of guest features, Songz has somehow found time to work on his upcoming studio album, Chapter V, and the latest taste from that project is brand new slow jam Dive In. Troy Taylor and Josh Garrison team up on the production tip, creating a lush and soft backdrop highlighted by guitar licks and even the occasional violin. A true R&B singer knows exactly what to do with an instrumental like that, and sure enough Songz delivers a vocal performance sure to keep maternity wards busy nine months from now. I’m just saying, you might want to wait until that special someone is in the room with you before pressing play on this one. I’ve got no doubt that plenty more bedroom worthy material awaits us on August 21 when Chapter V is officially releases. In the meantime, why not dive in early and get your pre-order on?
