Ty Farris ft. Royce Da 5’9 - I Promise

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Trox
Album:
Rydah Music

There are few sure things in this world but, when two rhymesayers as talented as Ty Farris and Royce Da 5’9” get together on a track, I can pretty much Promise you it’s gonna be dope. The unsigned spitter’s first feature on our pages since earning widespread acclaim for System Banging back in August, this new LP single sees Farris and his fellow Michigan repper chronicling their quest for money and respect in laid-back, lyrically on-point verses. Trox provides an appropriately grimy backdrop for their bars, layering scintillating synth arpeggios and delayed vocal samples over a slow-rolling drum pattern. Feeling this street-ready jam? More Rydah Music awaits on Ty’s next full-length, dropping independently at an as yet-undetermined date in the near future.
