The Introduction LP

This past spring, the hip-hop world was introduced to Tyga, a young MC with a rock-n-roll edge whose debut album, No Introduction, was released on June 10 via Decaydance Records (also home to indie group Gym Class Heroes).  Why was that album called No Introduction?  Because he’s getting ready to put that extra effort into his sophomore album, The Introduction LP.  On the first street single, Suicide, Tyga gets producer D.A. to pick up the guitar for a deeply soulful musing on everything he’s experiencing, from obsessive female fans at his shows to bloggers talking sideways online.  In these days, crossover singles get some of the higher ratings on this site; there’s no reason to think that Suicide won’t do the same and find a spot on our underground charts next week (Shoutouts to DJ Ill Will, our colleague who sent this!)
