Uno Hype - R.E.M.

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
el-R
Album:
None (Promo Single)

First things first: contrary to what the promo pic on the left may suggest, Uno Hype‘s latest single isn’t a musical tribute to ‘90s alternative-rock giants R.E.M. (And frankly, I’m not sure whether to be relieved or slightly disappointed.) Instead, the lead single off Uno’s next project is a low-key banger which finds the DMV spitter forecasting his bright future in the game. el-R produces this low-key banger, flipping a jazzy bell loop as the rhymesayer paints a rosy lyrical picture of the road ahead. Will his predictions prove correct? Only time will tell. Those who want to support Uno Hype in his journey to the top should keep it locked for further details on his currently-untitled, unscheduled forthcoming set. In the meantime, his last street release, April’s FXCK THE HYPE, is still available in the Booth for free streaming and download.
