Vast Aire ft. Raekwon & Vordul Mega - Thor’s Hammer

Posted 5 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
P.O.V.
Album:
Ox 2010: A Street Odyssey

Almost exactly a decade after the release of Def Jux duo Cannibal Ox’ seminal debut album, Cold Vein (released May 15, 2001), Vast Aire and Vordul Mega have rejoined forces to bring us Thor’s Hammer, a single which makes as big an impact as its title suggests. A gritty yet understated sampled beat by P.O.V. sets the mood as the underground mainstays deliver their trademark abstract lyrical poetry. Complete with guest rhymes by Wu-Tang legend Raekwon the Chef, this left-of-center banger is just one of many fresh cuts to be found on Vast Aire solo LP Ox 2010: A Street Odyssey, available now in stores and online (click here to purchase the set on iTunes).
