Verse Da Ink - Lonely [Premiere]

Posted 6 years ago
Producer:
Jav Gothic Prod
Album:
Beyond Comparison

It’s going to be hard to top Beyonce’s classic Irreplaceable, but thanks to Texas/New York artist Verse da Ink (not to be confused with Verse or Verse Simmonds) music’s long tradition of “pack your bags and get gone” songs has new company today in the form of Lonely. First heard on Question’s Talkin Down, Ink is making his solo DJBooth debut today with the acoustically-oriented Lonely, a track that somehow manages to be coldly strong and heartbroken in equal measure. While the production, by Jav Gothic Prod., is certainly more than enough to attract attention on its own, its Ink’s deeply felt vocals that really drive the track. If you’re going to have your heart broken, you might as well make sure you get a great song out of it. Or am I overreaching? I’m sure Booth nation will set the record straight in the comments below. For more incomparably quality music be sure to check out Ink’s new album Beyond Comparison when it hits eardrums everywhere this coming winter.
