Verse ft. Prynce Cyhi & Young Capone - Pass Me The Rubbas

Posted 7 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
J.O.N.
Album:
Sex Tape Chronicles Mixtape

With the July 1st release of his Sex Tape Chronicles mixtape, Virgin Islands native, Interscope signee, and all-around Booth favorite Verse will be sharing his freaky tales with a wider audience than ever before.  To help build buzz for the project, we will be bringing readers the online premiere of a new record every week, for the next 10 weeks. The first exclusive cut, Pass Me The Rubbas,  finds Verse and his homies, Prynce Cyhi and Young Capone, kicking back as they prepare for some steamy action with three fine ladies.  Don’t be too quick to criticize Verse’s use of Autotune here—in this instance, the singer’s simply showing his knowledge of slow-jam history; J.O.N. instrumental is based around a sample from Slow and Easy by Zapp & Roger, the duo who pioneered Autotuned R&B back when T-Pain was still pulling the string of his See & Say.  If you’re enjoying Pass Me The Rubbers, be sure to check back next week for another online premiere.
