Beat Billionaire

Though Wale‘s previous single, Chain Music won respectable reader reviews when it hit our frontpage back in the beginning of September, there were those who weren’t digging its flashy, street-oriented style. Hoping to seduce a few more pairs of ears before the imminent release of his Maybach debut, the DMV heavyweight invites listeners to grab their passport, pack a change of clothes and prepare for the Best Night Ever on the third official release off the set. Self Made Vol. 1 contributor Beat Billionaire mans the mixing boards, crafting a fittingly luxurious synth-sample beat to back Mr. Folarin as he plies a special ladies with images of fairytale romance: “You found a prince without losin’ slippers or kissin’ frogs / Don’t get too far, just play your part, I’ll break you off, and one day you’ll get my all, it’s Inshallah. ” Unsurprisingly, the headliner’s Bawse gets in on the action, lacing the track’s latter portion with his trademark high-rolling ‘hood talk, and RCA crooner Kevin Cossom seals the deal with a seductive chorus. So, has this smooth selection persuaded you that you need more Wale in your life? If so, then you’ll most definitely want to cop his sophomore set, Ambition, when it arrives in stores Nov. 1.
