Webbie ft. LeToya Luckett - I Miss You

Savage Life 2

When most rappers start out in this industry, they try to maintain a hard-boiled image.  However, as they get a few albums deep, they begin to show more emotion, which in turn allows the audience to understand them better.  For example, when Webbie released Savage Life in ‘05, he was only offering his women two things (one of which was bubble gum).  Fast forward three years, the same Young Savage is telling his lady “I Miss You.”  Former Destiny’s Child alumna LeToya Luckett lends some street-heart swagger to the hook, but a soulful sample on the beat sets up I Miss You for uncharted club territory: the slow jam sessions.  For more musical growth, cop Savage Life 2 on February 26.
