North Villah

How is Well$ feeling as he steps into the Booth with his fourth audio feature? “Happy” doesn’t even begin to describe it; he’s in a State of Ecstasy. But it wouldn’t do him any good to sound too cheery while lyrically annihilating your competition, so the North Carolina rhymesayer manages to contain his joy on this promo single, Pt. 2 of a cut off 2012 debut EP $ay La V. Over North Villah‘s beat, a simple, yet effective mix of string loops and boom-bap percussion, the Bronx-based rhymesayer delivers deadpan verses packed with wordplay-driven punchlines. Singer Jackie Kwenda provides guest vocals. Has this lyrically on-point selection left you ecstatic? While State of Ecstasy (Pt. 2) won’t be appearing on the project, you’ll undoubtedly find more to like on Well$‘s MTSYD: Revenge of the African Booty Scratcher LP, which has yet to be assigned a drop date.
