Will Brennan ft. Reggie Williams - Ready For Now

Posted 4 years ago
Producer:
J. Cruz
Album:
Rite of Passage

Some rappers are content to chase their dreams on a part-time basis, waking up somewhere around noon, checking Facebook, writing a couple rhymes and then hitting the club. Not Will Brennan. The young Florida buzzmaker is ready to make his dreams a reality now and he’s got the work ethic to prove it. Making its world premiere on The DJBooth, new single Ready for Now gets its energy from a J. Cruz beat that has its eye on the epic, layering strings and horns over a speaker rattling bass line. It’s apparently more than all the motivation Brennan needs to lay down an avalanche of rhymes, warning rival emcees that he’s nothing to be played with on the mic. Top things off with some John Legend-esque vocals from Reggie Williams and you’ve got the complete audio package. Fans ready to cop Brennan’s new album, Rite of Passage, will have to wait until it hits our pages on February 16, but if you’re ready to hear more Brennan now be sure to check out his previous project Road Not Taken, available for free stream and download here
