Wyclef ft. T.I. & Trae The Truth - I Wish It Was Music

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Arsonal
Album:
April Showers

Whenever I get into my car, I plug in my iPod as quickly as possible, as I refuse to listen to the radio. On the off chance I do check out a hip-hop station, I am invariably disappointed; like Wyclef, I Wish It Was Music. The former Fugees member’s latest effort might make my wish come true as this is a quality cut, which nonetheless boasts ample star power and pop appeal. Over a bluesy, rock-infused beat by Arsonal, T.I. and Trae The Truth join Wyclef in spitting some heartfelt, knowledge-filled bars. In addition to delivering the final verse, Jean lends his vocals to the hook, imbuing the record with a dash of Island flavor. I Wish It Was Music is the latest song release, following Bang Bang Bang (also featured this week), off Clef’s April Showers mixtape, available now online.
