The Awesome Sound
None (Promo Single)

XV, with the help of Freddy High, has a new banger on his hands with the release of Now Let’s Go In. Opening up with a high pitched synth pattern and choir sounding harmonizing in the background, by the time the drums drop you can tell that The Awesome Sound has produced a trunk banger. Bouncing to the heavy drums and the hypnotizing synth pattern, XV talks about his home team, which is apparently fond of partying and winning. Using lyrical metaphors to describe the KU team, (you know, the ones who lost last night) the Kansas representer makes the case that he and his squad are here and taking no prisoners. With the song ending in a sample of a crowd yelling the K-U Hawks game chant, you’ve got to wonder if Tyshawn Taylor got to hear this song before game. Regardless, hopefully XV lives his own words and “doesn’t remember last night.”
