XV - Stone Cold (3:16) [Freestyle]

Producer:
Dr. Dre
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Originally featured in early April, Kendrick Lamar‘s Dre-assisted single, The Recipe, won high praise for both the collaborators’ bars and Scoop Deville‘s blunted sample work. On new freestyle Stone Cold (3:16), Wichita spitter and 2012 SXSW showcase participant XV borrows the record’s hazy instrumental (drawn from Twin Sister’s Meet the Frownies) to back two-fisted bars dedicated tohis home area code. Digging it? While this joint isn’t attached to any forthcoming project, fans can stay tuned for all the latest from the Square Bound Music/Warner Bros signee.
