Early this month, Yelawolf checked into a Wisconsin hospital due to a ruptured spleen. Though his condition was critical when arrived, the Gadsden-repping Booth fave has made an almost complete recovery in the three intervening weeks. On freshly-released freestyle Thank You, the freestyle series alum expresses his gratitude to the many fans who showed love over the course of his convalescence, rocking the mic with renewed strength and vigor over an instrumental by frequent collaborator Will Power (of SupaHot Beats). This joint isn’t attached to any larger project, but those who haven’t already can hear plenty more fresh material on The Slumdon Bridge, his recently-released collaboration with UK singer Ed Sheeran.
