Fresh off a very successful DJBooth debut, Yo Dot is back, and this time he’s after more than Just Trying to Live. For new release Paradise, making its world premiere right here, right now, the Milwaukee emcee recruits producer Original Vision to lay down an appropriately dreamy and soulful instrumental. It’s all the motivation Dot needs to lay down smoothly delivered rhymes about living the good life along with some women, weed and good weather. It’s a life motto that guest feature Proph shares, echoing the headliner’s sentiments in a promiscuously oriented verse of his own. Digging what you’re hearing? Then you’re in luck; Yo Dot’s Red Mist album is due to arrive this Thursday, September 6, via The DJBooth. Until then, enjoy a little taste of hip-hop paradise.
