Yonas - One More Time

Posted 4 years ago
Producer:
Sean Ross
Album:

What’s the only thing better than a beautiful woman? Two beautiful women. What’s the only thing better than $1 million? $2 million. How do you top the best night of your life? Have a new best night of your life? No matter how much we get, we always want more, especially when it comes to music from NYC emcee and The DJBooth regular Yonas. For his latest single, One More Time (making its world premiere right here, right now) Yonas grabs constant production partner Sean Ross for an uptempo beat that anyone alive in 2000 will instantly recognize as sampling Daft Punk’s hit of the same name. On the mic, Yonas matches the instrumental’s energy with boastful bars that, despite the good times mood, aren’t afraid to throw down should said party take a turn for the worse: “You wanna fight we can knuckle back / but I’m from the South Bronx, good luck with that.” Fittingly, once again fans can enjoy anticipating a new project from Yonas as we await the May release of his upcoming project, The Transition (ReMixtape). Until then, feel free to keep this one on repeat.
