Where the Streets Have No Name (Compilation Album)

Building off the underground acclaim they earned for their debut compilation album, Whose World Is This?, K-Salaam & Beatnick have decided to give it another go!  This time around, they’ve teamed up with hip-hop blog illroots to assemble a brand new collection of hot beats and strong, spirited verses straight from a place Where The Streets Have No Name.  One of the cuts set for inclusion on that album sees Cashville’s Young Buck and Watts’ Glasses Malone addressing one of the upsides of coming up from the streets: those years of hard-earned experience mean that even the roughest locales will feel just like “My Zone.”  Beatnick & K-Salaam’s smooth instrumental accompaniment helps set the mood for Buck and Glasses’ inspired verses, and the end result is a cut that should have no trouble getting rotation in any zone.
