Young Buck - Hood Documentary

Vince V
The Rehab

Where other rappers trade in stylized, embellished versions of the street life, Young Buck is one of the few who can be trusted to provide the unvarnished truth – the Hood Documentary, if you will. The latest leak off his forthcoming street album, this new joint is packed with the gritty lyricism for which Buck is known, but what’s really gotten the hip-hop nation buzzing are the comments he addresses to none other than 50 Cent. Over Vince V‘s hard-hitting production, the G-Unit alum informs his label boss that no amount of stalling will discourage him: “No matter how long this n*gga hold me on this contract sh*t, I gotta get some money, and if you don’t understand that, then f*ck you…” Whether you have a taste for beef or you remain strictly vegetarian, this record satisfies – and it’s always nice to be reminded that, come hell or high water, Buck will be out there cooking up dope music for the Southern streets. Fans will find Documentary and much more on the Cashville general’s The Rehab mixtape, set to drop via Real Talk Ent on September 7.
