Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition

He’s baaack. It’s been three years since Young Jeezy dropped his last studio album, but like they say, the best things come to those who wait. Thug Motivation 103: A Hustlerz Ambition, Jeezy’s much anticipated third installment of his Thug Motivation series, is set to be released December 21. Among the list of the album’s star-studded tracks is OJ, featuring Jadakiss and Fabolous. Recruiting two of New York’s finest is never a bad idea, and once you throw producer Lil Lody in the mix you have a potential chart hit. That is, if songs about getting away with the hustle, much like O.J. Simpson allegedly got away with murder, can become hits. Jeezy and Fab’s collaboration is effortless and Jada absolutely kills it on the last verse (no pun intended), rapping, “I’m not wealthy yet, but I’m quite rich, as long as I keep killing that white b***h”. Some may argue that the theme of OJ is harsh, but the point of the cut is not to promote violence but instead to showcase the mighty hustlerz ambition: to get money and avoid handcuffs. Mission accomplished.
