Young Riot - Young Elevatin’ Successful

Album:
Y.O.M.P

You can tell a lot about a man from his name. Someone named Diddy isn’t going to make intensely political music and we shouldn’t exactly be surprised that C Murder was arrested for…murder. Similarly, Mass. representer and DJBooth newcomer Young Riot makes music that lives up to his name and then some – it’s loud, youthful and sure to get a crowd (or a mob) moving. Don’t believe me? Just take a listen to Young Elevatin’ Successful, making its worldwide premiere right here, right now. Fueled first and foremost by DJ Si’s Redbull-level energetic beat, which heavily samples indie rock band Two Door Cinema Club’s What You Know for its unstoppably positive message (word to Google for the sample research), Successful simply can’t be ignored. But even the best production would simply be an instrumental without lyrics and Riot chips in with similarly uplifting lyrics So how about it Booth nation? Does Riot have what it takes to find success on our pages? Those that answered affirmatively will want to check out his forthcoming mixtape, Y.O.M.P, when it drops via our homepage on Tuesday, April 26.
