The Love Project

Though his debut album, Look What You Made Me, did numbers that would typically get an artist dropped from his or her label, Yung Berg isn’t about to let his career go down in flames.  Still signed to Yung Boss/Epic/E1, Berg is already planning his follow-up, The Love Project.  As the artist clarified, the album revolves around his love for the music game rather than for any particular woman, but that doesn’t mean it won’t include a few ladies’ jams.  On his new warm-up single, Berg tells his girl that, despite their disagreements, he’s still in love “With You,” always ready to make amends.  K. Young (previously heard on labelmate Nipsey Hussle‘s Roll The Windows Up) delivers a smooth hook similar to those featured on many of LWYMM‘s tracks, but in-house producer Rob Holiday makes the biggest impression here—elevated by his slow-jam instrumental, With You is living proof that Yung Berg is still in his mode and has found his place as a hit-maker.  What’s not to love about that?
