Deadbeats beware: Z-Ro‘s got your number. The Houston mainstay’s new single, You, calls out men everywhere who can’t keep their sh*t together. He doesn’t mince words, delivering three patronizing verses in an equally patronizing sing-song delivery. But hey, he’s the one with the mic, so he’ll be as damn preachy as he wants to be. Way to tell ‘em, Z-Ro. On the production side of things, he chooses to keep the beat homegrown, throwing in some bouncy synths over a little Houston percussion. It’s fun enough to be catchy but serious enough for his words to sink in. You will appear on his upcoming album, Crack, out September 9.
