10 Most-Played Hip-Hop Songs on Spotify This Week

Another week, another top 10 with the exact same names as the week prior

Instead of five Drake songs and one apiece from Cardi B, Juice WRLD, Tyga, Post Malone and XXXTENTACION, this week's 10 most-played hip-hop songs on Spotify include four Drake songs, two from XXXTENTACION, and one apiece from—you guessed it—Cardi B, Juice WRLD, Tyga and Post Malone. Diversity!

(Note: If diversity is what you're looking for, I recommend galavanting through our latest 10 New Songs You Need This Week column, which features none of the above names.)

Before we take a look at the complete list, a few friendly observations:

  • With "Nonstop" passing the 100 million global stream threshold, Drake's Scorpion now boasts six tracks that have achieved that milestone.
  • Thanks to the success of "Taste," which passed the 150 million stream mark this past week, Tyga now has 23.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, placing him 46th in the world. Let this be a reminder that, in the Streaming Era, nobody's career window is ever closed.
  • It's only a matter of time—our projections say five weeks—before "God's Plan" reaches the one billion stream marker. Drake's smash single will be his second to reach this milestone, joining "One Dance" (1.52 billion).

The List (all-time streams):

  1. Drake "In My Feelings" (198M)
  2. Cardi B "I Like It" w/ Bad Bunny & J Balvin (358M)
  3. Juice WRLD "Lucid Dreams" (231M)
  4. Tyga "Taste" ft. Offset (161M)
  6. Post Malone "Better Now" (376M)
  7. Drake "Don’t Matter To Me" ft. Michael Jackson (124M)
  8. Drake "Nonstop" (109M)
  9. XXXTENTACION "Moonlight" (239M)
  10. Drake "God's Plan" (928M)
