10 Most-Played Hip-Hop Songs on Spotify This Week

Eminem does the impossible.
Publish date:

After weeks of subtly complaining about the same 10 songs ruling this chart, I finally got my wish as Eminem's Kamikaze dominates this week's most-played hip-hop songs on Spotify. It's not quite what I was hoping for, but I'm going to boldly go where no DJBooth writer of the past three weeks (myself included) will go: Pure. Eminem. Praise.

Enjoy it, Em. Your album might be boring but at least it's popular. Wait, my bad. Back to the praise.

Here are the biggest hip-hop songs in the world right now, led by Slim Shady and *checks notes* Joyner Lucas. As always, if you'd prefer the best new songs this week, head to 10 New Songs You Need This Week

Before we take a look at the complete list, a few friendly observations:

  • Eminem has done the impossible and unseated Drake's "In My Feelings" for the top spot, ending Drake's two-month reign at No. 1.
  • Royce da 5'9" is featured on one of the eight most popular hip-hop songs in the world. That seems notable.
  • After months of holding down spots on this chart, Cardi B, XXXTENTACION, and Post Malone have finally been ousted. Blame—or thank—Eminem.

The List (all-time streams):

  1. Eminem "Lucky You" ft. Joyner Lucas (35M)
  2. Drake "In My Feelings" (475M)
  3. Eminem "The Ringer" (30.9M)
  4. 6ix9ine "FEFE" ft. Nicki Minaj & Murda Beatz (176M)
