Rap Music Chart - August 2, 2010
Welcome to the Booth's Top Rap Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
With last week's #1 pick, Kid CuDi's "Erase Me," currently enjoying a spot on our Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart, the former fourth and fifth-place picks, Rich Boy's "To the Floor" and Yung Joc's "Yea Boy" move to first and second. Formerly #2, Rick Ross' "Free Mason" drops to #4. Making their debut in our Rap lineup are Nelly's "Tippin' in the Club" (at #3), Ice Cube's "Drink the Kool-Aid" (at #5), Petey Pablo's "Go" (at #10), Kid Sister's "Lookout Weekend" (at #14), Bun B's "Chuuuch!!!" (at #15) and D.C. Don Juan's Booth-premiered "Get It Like Me" (at #16). Down from last week's Top Hip Hop and R&B are Nicki Minaj's "Your Love," T.I.'s "Ya Hear Me," and Eminem's "Not Afraid," which land in seventh, eighth and 12th. No longer in the running are cuts by Bun B ("Trillionaire"), Eminem ("Session One"), B.o.B ("Airplanes," "Nothing on You"), Kid CuDi ("REVOFEV"), Drake ("9AM in Dallas"), Paul Wall ("Live It") and MIMS ("Haters You Love Me").
