Rap Music Chart - August 23, 2010
Welcome to the Booth's Top Rap Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
With week's front-runner, k-os "Faith" currently enjoying a spot in our Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart, a trifecta of new features come out on top; J. Cole, Kid CuDi and Kanye West take #1, #2 and #3 with "Blow Up," "Mr. Rager" and "Power (Remix)," pushing last week's runner-up, Nelly's "Tippin' in the Club" to fourth. Also making their debut in our Rap Chart this week are Twista's "The Heat," Pill's "Blow Up" and Raekwon's "Travel Places" claim #5, #13 and #15. Down from our Top Picks, Eminem and Birdman drop to #7 and #10 with "Love the Way You Lie" and "Loyalty." No longer in the running are cuts by Jeezy ("Lose My Mind"), Mark Ronson ("Lose It (In the End)"), Petey Pablo ("Go"), XV ("Squares") and Ice Cube ("Drink the Kool-Aid").
