Rap Music Chart - August 8, 2011

Welcome to the Booth's Top Rap Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.

Last week's front-runners, DJ Drama's "Oh My (Remix)" and Gilbere Forte's "Burn Me Down," make the jump to our Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart this week, clearing the way for new features from Drake (Take Care lead single "Headlines") and Yelawolf ("Hard White (Up in the Club)") to claim the top two. Also debuting this week are J. Cole's "Pity" (in fourth), 50 Cent's "I'm on It" (in seventh), Big K.R.I.T.'s "Happy Birthday Hip-Hop" (in eighth), Ace Hood's "Go N Get It (Remix)" (in 16th) and Asher Roth's "Another One Down" (in 18th). Edged out by the newcomers are cuts by Pusha T ("Trouble on My Mind"), Big Sean ("Dot Dot Dot"), Game ("Pot of Gold"), DJ Khaled ("It Ain't Over Till It's Over"), Lil Wayne "Tunechi's Back (Freestyle)", J. Coile ("Work Out"), Young Buck ("Addicted") and Kardinal Offishall ("Ol Time Killin Pt. 2").
