Rap Music Chart - August 9, 2010
Welcome to the Booth's Top Rap Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
Last week's front-runner, J.Cole's "Premeditated Murder" drops to third this week, and the former runner-up Rich Boy's "To the Floor," graduates to our Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart. Taking their place are Diggy Simmons' "Thinkin' Bout," making its debut in first, and Nelly's "Tippin' in the Club," up from third. Also making their chart debut in our Rap lineup are Jermaine Dupri's "I Heard Um Say" (in fifth), XV's "Squares" (in 14th), Master Shortie's "Bringing It Back" (in 15th) and D.C. Don Juan's Booth-premiered "Rock Wit You" (at 18th). Down from our Top Picks are Rick Ross' "Maybach Music 3" (in fourth), Big Boi's "Tangerine" (at seventh), Bun B's "Let 'Em Know" (at eighth) and Jeezy's "Lose My Mind (Remix)" (at 11th). Absent from our lineup this go-round are tracks by T.I. ("Ya Hear Me"), Cassidy ("Gotta Get My Paper Up"), Joe Budden ("Short Summer"), Kid Sister ("Lookout Weekend"), D.C.
