Rap Music Chart - February 1, 2010
Welcome to the Booth's Top Rap Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
Pitbull and 50 parachute down from our Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart to claim first and second with "Pearly Gates" and "Do You Think About Me." Two more former Top Picks, Jeezy's "Scared Money" and Ludacris' Roots-assisted live version of "I Do It for Hip-Hop" follow at #4 and #7. Luda's newly-released remix of smash hit "How Low" makes its chart debut this week (at 10th), as do Matisyahu's "One Day" (11th), Nas & Damian Marley's "As We Enter" (12th), Rick Ross' "Mafia Music 2" (16th) and Reflection Eternal's "Just Begun" (19th). Out of the running this go-round are cuts by Three 6 Mafia ("Feel It"), DJ Khaled ("Fed Up"), Consequence ("Whatever U Want (BB Rmx)"), Young Buck ("No Excuses"), Eminem ("Drop the Bomb on Em"), Gucci Mane ("Spotlight") and Hurricane Chris ("Headboard").
