Welcome to the Booth’s Top Rap Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
*Last week’s top two, 8Ball & MJG‘s “We Buy Gold” and 50 Cent‘s “I Don’t Wanna,” make the jump to our Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart this week. Taking their place are The Throne‘s “Gotta Have It” (a new feature) and Tyga‘s “Rack City (Freestyle)” (in 13th).
*Debuting along with The Throne’s cut, Don Trip‘s “Allen Iverson,” Young Jeezy‘s “SupaFreak,” Wale‘s “Sabotage” and N.O.R.E.‘s “Lehhgooo” enter the chart in third, eighth, ninth and 17th.
*Jay-Z‘s “Glory,” Wiz Khalifa‘s “California,” K’NAAN‘s “Nothing to Lose” and Yelawolf‘s “Throw It Up” drop from our Top Picks to claim fifth, sixth, seventh and 10th.
*Edged out by the newcomers, Lupe Fiasco‘s “American Terrorist III,” Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s “Smokin’ On,” Meek Mill‘s “Lean With It” and T.I.‘s “This Time of Night” make their exit.
