Music Chart - January 16, 2012

Welcome to the Booth's Top Independent Hip Hop Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.

¡MAYDAY!'s "Internal Wars" debuts on top this week, knocking Skillz' "2011 Rap Up" to second. Last week's runner-up, Brother Ali's "Writer's Block," drops out of the running entirely. All in all, 17 new features earn spots in the lineup, among them Booth-premiered joints by Knowledge Medina ("Dead or Alive," in third), C Plus ("Thank You (Celebration)," in 13th) and J The S ("Simple Man," in 14th).
