Music Chart - January 25, 2010
Welcome to the Booth's Independent Hip Hop Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
This week's Independent shake-up is the most dramatic since the October '09 launch of our expanded charts. The past week's features snag 16 out of 20 spots, including the top two; Dan Black (the CuDi-assisted "Symphonies") and Nappy Roots (the Booth-premiered "P.O.N. (Pursuit of Nappiness)" come in first and second. Hanging on from last week are Joe Budden's "R.I.P." (at eighth), Belly's "Make It Go" (at sixth), Statik Selektah's "So Close, So Far" (at 16th) and The Freshmen's "Contact" (at 20th).
