Music Chart - January 9, 2012

Welcome to the Booth's Top Independent Hip Hop Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.

The only members of the pre-holiday break lineup to survive into 2012, front-runners Kid Ink (with Get Into the Moment") and Childish Gambino ("Heartbeat") drop to 12th and 13th. Skillz' "2011 Rap Up" and Brother Ali's "Writers Block" debut in their place. One of 18 new cuts to earn a spot in the lineup, Bad Newsz Greatest's DJBooth-premiered "Aurora Borealis" takes 19th.
