Welcome to the Booth’s Top Independent Hip Hop Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
For the first time, an exclusive freestyle series contribution debuts on top: Mad Child (of Swollen Members) snags first with “Black Belt,” pushing former front-runner David Dallas‘ “Caught in a Daze” to third. Mac Miller retains second with “Donald Trump.” Down from last week’s Rap Chart, Lil B‘s “Base for Your Face” lands in 15th. All in all, new features snag spots in the lineup, including a Booth-premiered joint by Prote-J (“Bigger Things,” in 17th).
1. Mac Miller – Donald Trump
