Rap Music Chart - November 23, 2009
Welcome to the Booth's recently-expanded Top Rap Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
Plies "Medicine" retains the top spot from last week's lineup, while Young Money femcee Nicki Minaj hops from fifth place to #2. The Clipse's "Popular Demand" drops from last week's Top Picks to claim #10, just as album leak "The Doorman" disappears from our charts entirely. Cuts by Wale ("Letter"), Wyclef ("Suicide Love"), Trae ("Something Real") and Timbaland ("Morning After Dark") also make their exit, while new tracks from Consequence ("Whatever U Like (Remix)"), Beanie Sigel ("I Go Off"), Kardinal Offishall ("Clear (Remix)") Huey ("I Go Crazy") and Hurricane Chris ("Headboard") debut at, respectively, #3, #7. #12, #16 and #17. The ubiquitous Gucci Mane's latest single steps back into the "Spotlight," resurfacing at #13.
