Welcome to the Booth’s Top R&B Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
Akon‘s “Angel” ascended to heaven our Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart this week, clearing the way for Bruno Mars to climb from second to first. Lloyd leapfrogs over Trey Songz‘ “Bottom’s Up” to claim second with “Lay It Down.” New singles from Jazmine Sullivan (“10 Seconds”), Kevin Cossom (“Baby I Like It”) and One Chance (“Sexin’ on You”) debut in fifth, 12th and 20th. Down from our Top Picks, Akon‘s “Take a Chance,” Raheem DeVaughn‘s “She’s Single” and Rihanna‘s “Only Girl (In the World).” No longer in the running are John Legend‘s “Hard Times,” Willow Smith‘s “Whip My Hair,” Usher‘s “Hot Tottie,” Tank‘s “Emergency,” Mayer Hawthorne (“No Strings”) and Stromae (“Alors on Danse”).
