Welcome to the Booth’s Top Independent Hip Hop Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.
In a volatile week for the Indie Charts, last week’s #1, Atmosphere’s “Freefalling”, freefalls to #13, with previous #2 “Battle Cry” by Joell Ortiz and #3 “Boom Bap” by NIQUE sliding to the #6 and #7 spot respectively. Taking their place is a brand new top track, Mac Miller‘s Pittsburgh Kidz Get the Biz, followed by four other newcomers, The Mad Violinist‘ “Muzik”, Stromae‘s “Alors en Danse (Remix)”, Jon Hope‘s “Still Breathin” and The ILLZ‘ Cover Me (I’m Going In). And as if that wasn’t enough, also debuting on the charts are new records from Voli, Toki Wright, Emilio Rojas, Steve Liriks, Young Scolla, James Wade, Kool G Rap, Kno and Hollywood Floss.
