T.I. Announces New Album Title, "Traps Open"

In an interview with HHS87, T.I. has revealed the title of his forthcoming album. The second installment in the Paperwork trilogy, which began last fall with The Motion Picture, will be called Traps Open.

"This next one is going to be unapologetically gansgta," said Tip. "It's trap music."

With a title like Traps Open and quotes like that it's unlikely we'll be hearing something like "New National Anthem" on this project, but only time will tell. There is no set release date for the album, which will be released (by surprise?) sometime later this year via Columbia Records and Grand Hustle. In related news, T.I. was just bounced from our March Madness Rapper Tournament - we'll have to see if he can recover from that completely imaginary loss with the release of some new music.
