For the past week, Drake has dominated Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Apple Music, the radio, the Halloween costume market and every aspect of life in general (except for Billboard) with “Hotline Bling.”
What started out as nothing more than a casual loosie has turned into one of the biggest stories in music this year. Well, the never ending story of “Hotline Bling” has a new chapter, this one co-written by the one and only Justin Bieber. Earlier today, Drake's fellow Canadian hinted at a “Hotline Bling Remix” on Instagram.

It’s unclear whether or not a potential release will be an official, Drake-approved remix or strictly a gift from the Biebz. Either way, it’s a pretty savvy move by the Biebz to help build even more moment for his highly anticipated album Purpose, set to drop November 13.
Let’s hope this doesn’t start a new trend of “Hotline Bling” remixes getting passed out like Candy on Halloween. Although it seems like that ship has sailed already.

The remix is most definitely real. Bieber tweeted a phone number which, when called, plays his remix. Take a listen:
In all seriousness it's actually a pretty creative tactic and the remix sounds interesting. I tried calling but couldn't get through. Guess I'll have to wait for the official release...
