Lupe Fiasco Tweets That "The Cool 2" Album is Coming! (In Two Years)

If Lupe's latest tweet is to be believed another classic could be on the way, just not anytime soon.

It looks like we might be getting some new Lupe Fiasco, just not anytime soon. 

On the eighth anniversary of his album The Cool, Fiasco tweeted in recognizance of the landmark and seemed to hint at a follow-up to the classic project. 

The Cool 2 has been a talking point for Fiasco for a while now as earlier this year he said he was working on the project and urged fans to have some patience.

Twitter is far from the definitive word on album release schedules, but if this tweet turns out to be accurate, Fiasco will be providing some college essay material for the graduates of the class of 2018, and if that feels like a long time from now, it's because it is.
