After a three-year wait for a new album from Kanye West, a Kylie Jenner-bombed tracklist can only mean one thing.
Yeezy season is finally upon us.
Earlier tonight, Kanye took to Twitter to announce that SWISH is complete. Kanye, known for his lavish artwork and ostentatious album reveals, simply tweeted a handwritten tracklist for what he promised will be the best album of all-time, an especially impressive feat considering what a terrible album title SWISH is.
This has to be the most unofficial-official tracklist ever. It's the Yeezy fashion line of tracklists. If this wasn't tweeted from Kanye’s Twitter, I'm not sure I would believe it. I’m not sure I still do. I mean "Kylie Was Here" written in what looks like crayon by a child? So we're finally going to hear "Wolves," huh? So "Real Friends" and "No More Parties" were album cuts? Call me a cynic, but I’m skeptical. It’s hard to believe that this is the final-final tracklist. We know Kanye’s penchant for doing things at the last minute and Swish/So Help Me God has had an interesting past, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Still, this is big news. This isn’t Travis Scott or that guy who works at the 7-11 down the street from Kanye’s studio, this is Kanye himself officially confirming that this album exists and is finished. So the album is done. But whether or not we actually get it on February 11 still remains to be seen.
We're waiting Kanye.....
